Life as an Incoming Family Medicine Resident Physician with Matthew Mayeda, DO, MPH

Guest: Matthew Mayeda, DO, MPH

Though it’s already June, today is our concluding episode for Match May, where we interview an amazing incoming resident physician and discuss their journey through the Match process. This week our guest is Matthew Mayeda, DO, MPH, a recent graduate from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, who served as the National Vice President and Speaker of the House for the Student Osteopathic Medical Association, and is currently a Family Medicine Resident Physician at Sutter in the Bay Area. We talk about his work in improving student health insurance, his interests in public health policy, and his experiences through medical school and beyond. We also talk about the match process and what it’s like to match as a couple! It’s a great episode, and there is definitely a lot to take away from this interview. Don’t miss it!
