Bio

Geovana is a recent graduate of Clemson University's MA in Communication program and now works for a marketing-communication agency in Greenville, SC. Her research interests lie in the intersection of health communication, stigma, and media. Geovana's thesis examines how miscarriages are portrayed in film and television, guided by the model of stigma communication, communication privacy management theory, and social support frameworks.
