We study how communication interventions can improve decision-making in digital information environments through collaborative, interdisciplinary research. Our group brings together faculty, students, and collaborators working across communication, health, and digital technologies.

Understanding how stigmatizing, relational, and cultural message cues influence responses to persuasive messages in digital environments.
AI, Health, and Deepfake Detection
Developing communication interventions and conversational AI tools to promote health and improve resilience to misinformation, including AI-generated deepfakes.
