Bio
Kamila Eshalieva is a recent graduate of the MA in Communication program at Clemson University. Originally from Kyrgyzstan, she has reported on human rights issues and worked with a nonprofit organization that works to strengthen investigative journalism in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Kamila's research focuses on gender-based violence. Her master’s thesis examines the experiences of women journalists who face technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV).
